VirtuFit Pro ("we", "our", or "us") provides a virtual try-on solution for Shopify merchants and their customers. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Information We Collect

  • From merchants: store name, store ID, contact email, storefront URL, theme configuration, product details, and billing/subscription status. We do not collect customers' order or payment data.
  • From shoppers: uploaded images or webcam photos used for try-on sessions. Images are processed temporarily and deleted immediately after the session.

2. How We Use the Information

  • Enable and operate VirtuFit Pro features inside Shopify storefronts.
  • Display virtual try-on experiences, monitor usage, and generate anonymized analytics.
  • Improve performance, resolve technical issues, and communicate support/billing updates.

3. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Merchant data is retained while the app remains installed; once uninstalled, related data is removed within 30 days.
  • Shopper uploads are deleted immediately after each try-on session.
  • Merchants can submit manual deletion requests via the contact form.

4. Sharing with Third Parties

  • We do not sell or rent personal data.
  • Limited data may be shared with trusted providers (hosting, analytics) solely to support app functionality.
  • All partners are bound by confidentiality and data-protection agreements.

5. Data Security

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit and strict access control on our servers.
  • Regular security reviews and vulnerability monitoring.
  • While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

6. Your Rights

  • Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you may request access, correction, deletion, or objection to processing.
  • Merchants and shoppers can submit rights requests via the contact form.
  • We respond to verified requests within a reasonable period.

7. Data Processing for AI Features

  • AI-based image processing generates try-on previews and does not use uploads for model training.
  • Images are not used for biometric identification or profiling.
  • Processing occurs securely on our servers.

8. Children's Privacy

  • Our services are not directed to individuals under 16.
  • We do not knowingly collect child data; if submitted, we delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

  • We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision.
  • Significant updates will be communicated via in-app notices or email.
